The Auxilia residence, originally Saint Maximilian Kolbe, was created in 1972 by Sister Mary of the Cross, of the Congregation of Saint Clothilde. Located in Bagneux, it initially housed Polish students and young women workers supported by the French Association for Polish Youth (AFPJ). Managed since 1994 by Sister Myriam, of the Holy Family of Nazareth congregation, it now welcomes young women of all nationalities. Sister Myriam is now in charge of the new Courbevoie site.
